A very sedate Fairy with a group of goofy friends.  I wanted to make her wings look like they are actually growing out of her back. For reference I used a photo taken of a model in my art group, plus other photos I've taken of peacocks, butterflies, cats, and trees. The frog was one of my collection of plastic animals.

The Way I Know

"The Way I Know" acrylic on 20 x 16 streched canvas. Genre:  figure. The writing on it says, "If this is just the way I know, then the way I know is just."

This was done from a live model, then once I got it home, started playing with it.
