"Indifferent" Pied Piper Cats ACEO

"Indifferent" ACEO 3.5 x 2.5 inches, acrylic on illustration board. Varnished on both sides.
Not even the Pied Piper can herd cats. The little darlings just won't be organized. This little study has an X composition, with the streets converging into an implied vanishing point. The the lines of the streets and buildings, and also the cat's tail--all point to the Piper, who is the focal point. The cats are a secondary interest, and balance the composition. I had to get them at just the right value so they would show up, but not compete with the Piper.
