An old theme, revisited. A few years ago I did an ACEO of this one, below. I'm not sure if trying to repeat the past is such a good idea; still there are things about the newer version that I like. In the end, it comes down to getting out the old sketchbook and coming up with a good initial design, which certainly could reinterpret past elements in a new way.
Here's the older version:
"A tangle of ectoplasm" ink and watercolor ACEO. Sold.

Advice from the art muse
"Advice from the Art Muse" 9x12, archival ink on watercolor paper.
I wanted to experiment with some colored ink. All I had were brown and green, but I really like how it came out. Planning on buying some more archival colored pens. The brown was a Pitt pen, and the green was a Zig calligraphy pen.

Saturday Cafe
This is from the Daily Paintworks "Crowd Challenge." I wanted to see how much I could change things around from the photo, so I made some of the figures into cats and birds, and then added other figures from my imagination.
