Underwater Doodle

Coin not included with sale of painting.

The whole time I've done acrylics I've struggled with mid tones. They get too dark, and this is because acrylics dry darker. When I'm painting, if I keep thinking the mantra, "lighter brighter" it works better for me. I think the original looks much better, but then a painting has an unmistakable presence to it that a reproduction does not have.

I your case, I think perhaps there can never be too many seahorses. This one is BEAUTIFUL (well, all the ones I've seen are); it's a little more saturated than most of them. Cool!
