Ten minute painting challenge: 9 bottles

"Nine Bottles"
This is another of Carol Marine's challenges. A series of 10 minute paintings. Ie., each bottle is painted in 10 minutes, with a timer set. I put them all together on an 8x10 canvas, done in acrylics.
I'm taking a break from my usual style of whimsical fantasy painting to learn realism and composition better. This is also helping me paint faster and keep it fresh, which is also something I really need.

Hi Theresa,

Wow our names are the same - almost. I love your bottles, but Your Art is breathtaking. I especially like the cover piece, the car and kitties, and the head with the bird for hair. Creative and imaginative! In the manner of ? huh.

Kuddos to work well done.

Very well done, it's impressive if you imagine that you paint each of it in 10 minutes! I'd like to try but I know that it would take me more than 1 week!

Thanks Teresa and Lore! My goal was to paint faster and keep it fresh, and along came Carol's 10 minute challenges. Perfect remedy for my laborious overworkings.

Teresa, thanks for your kind words. Anyone with a name like ours has got to be artistic, right?

Lore, the timer does something magical to my brain and makes me paint real fast!

Wonderful work in so short a time!

I wonder how that 10 min thing would work with watercolor?

Thanks Lee! With watercolor, I'd divide up the paper in fourths, set the timer for 40 minutes, and let each one average 10 minutes, to allow for drying time.
