My Work Space

Thought you might enjoy seeing my artwork in its natural setting. Click on the picture to get the full effect. This is part of my studio (the clean part) where you can see some of my collection of reference objects. The cow skull is a conceit I had to indulge in, being a southwestern American artist. There are also some of my paintings in various stages of completion. On the easel is the 3 cats painting, further along, that I posted here several weeks ago.

The part you can't see is a horrendous mess-- an obstacle course that I stumble over, while my cats leap merrily through it.

Now that is a great photo of an artist's studio. Your refrence items
and meaningful artifacts along side
your paintings look like they tell
a beautiful story.

Thanks! that inspires me to clean up the messy part.

Oh My Goodness Theresa! Are you the neat tidy one! No corner of my studio could be photographed! You've inspired me to organize! What wonderful paintings and props for more! Thanks for sharing...

Thanks Rosemary! One out of four corners neat is better than all four messy! I need to clean up the other three corners...and the middle! But I'm glad you find it inspiring. There is nothing like a rubber chicken to connect an artist with the Muse.

All I can think of is, what's the rubber chicken about? You are a character!

Haha no studio is complete without a rubber chicken! It came from someone who commissioned me to make an ocarina (clay whistle/flute) shaped like a rubber chicken.

You can still see my ocarinas on the web
http://www.tbarts.com/ocarinas

although they are not connected to my main page anymore because I have switched to painting. I made ocarinas for about 7 years and did clay for about 30 years.
